As a consultant with over 20 years experience with Oracle’s consolidation and reporting products, I help clients with every aspect of their FCC projects:
→ Full FCC implementations from design through rollout and training
→ HFM to FCC migrations; rebuilding and optimizing your HFM application in FCC
→ FCC assessments to review and optimize your current implementation or to prepare to incorporate new businesses or processes

What to Expect
When We Work Together
Engagements are performed either direct to client or through a partner needing staffing or skillset assistance.
With all implementations, the consulting approach is adapted to work within the company’s culture, standards, methodologies, etc. Examples: use of company hardware, working within Agile or other project methodologies, Zoom/Webex/Teams/Meet, and documentation formats and requirements.
Product experts at Oracle and elsewhere are consulted through official and unofficial channels to provide the most authoritative and up-to-date information for issues should they arise.
When additional skill sets are required, other consultants are introduced and with approval are engaged to provide the appropriate level of support.

Below are successful project examples representing some of the
consulting services provided and how we could work together.
FCC Implementation:
Manufacturing company with worldwide operations using a spreadsheet based consolidation system in a single currency only. Implemented direct connection to Oracle EBS to load local currency data to FCC. Set up currency translations with overrides for historical accounts and automated intercompany eliminations. Data loading and all steps of consolidation now take a matter of minutes after the process is initiated either manually or on a scheduled basis. Set up cash flow reporting using a combination of loaded and manually entered supplemental data.
FCC Implementation
HFM to FCC Migration:
Private enterprise with multiple types of businesses. Migrated six HFM applications to three FCC applications (broken out by fiscal calendar) with unique levels of detail for each business within a new standard framework that enables consistent enterprise-wise consolidation and reporting. Addressed currency translation and intercompany elimination issues and set up cash flow reporting. Also introduced and provided oversight to additional consultants to implement the Narrative Reporting and Account Reconciliation modules.
FCC Assessment & Application Review
FCC Assessment & Application Review:
Industry support services company with existing application. Reviewed application design and effectiveness of implementation. Made improvement recommendations for both for leaving the application in place (no environment rebuild) and for an application rebuild/redesign.
Support for Ongoing Implementation:
Large pharmaceutical company undergoing implementation with a large consulting firm. Provided quality control for the engagement on behalf of the company and assisted both sides with specialized knowledge with cash flow and other areas of the implementation.
